ME: Individual Counseling
While there are countless reasons one might seek support, I've noticed a few common categories.
Clients often come to counseling feeling stuck, either in their careers, romance and intimacy, their family life or other relationships. Sometimes they're stuck in their own heads, listening to unhelpful thoughts, making it hard to move forward.
As well, some come to find better ways to cope with overwhelm.
Many want to feel happier and more satisfied, or perhaps less anxious, stressed and worried.
Counseling with me focuses on the tools and mindset that allow us to meet life's challenges with clarity, energy and confidence.
We build true self-esteem, healthy boundaries, interpersonal communication skills and resiliency that will carry you through, long after we’ve reached our goals, and have completed our counseling together.

WE: Relationship counseling
The focus of relationship counseling with me is on better connection and deeper intimacy, more joy and less misery.
Sure, communication skills are part of this. The problem is once we’re triggered, we forget all about those skills. Learning how to stay in our wise adult mind “consciousness” while feeling big feelings is crucial. Then we can actually use the other skills to make things better with our partners.
Couples at the start of their journey together are navigating compromise, compatibility and the inevitable disillusionment that follows the “NRE” stage.
Couples well into their relationship may find that they’re drifting apart, feeling bored, trapped or dissatisfied. They may be “going along to get along.”
And many couples come to me because the fighting has become a real problem for them, there’s been a betrayal, or a new circumstance has impacted the relationship.
NOTE: Arguing is a natural, unavoidable part of relationships. Done mindfully and with respect, conflict resolution can actually build trust and connection.
I welcome people who want more and better from their relationships and themselves.
Sometimes, this means us working together without your partner if they aren't ready or willing to join us at first.
My clients learn how to get what they want and need by learning how to be truly “relational.”
Together, couples nourish the love they each desire and deserve, bringing back what my mentor, Terry Real, calls “relational joy.”

Baby-Fertility Counseling
The path to pregnancy is not a straightforward road for some.
I'm here to help.
With over 35 years in the women's health and fertility field, I've grown up professionally alongside IVF and other Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART).
And I've benefited from the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine that has helped so many build their families over the millenia.
Here's what I've noticed about those on the Fertility Journey who are surviving and thriving, and making it to babe in arms in good shape:
1. They have great care providers.
2. They have a comprehensive and detailed understanding of their own fertility and the potential obstacles they may be facing.
3. They know how to care for their own health and wellbeing, and for that of their future children. This includes having excellent support outside of family and friends.
Along with counseling, coaching and emotional support, I act as consultant and “general contractor,” helping get the resources needed for success.
As a practitioner, I‘ve been helping women and couples in the clinic build families through pregnancy for over three decades. A deep understanding of the biological processes and the most up-to-date research in the medical community on fertility inform my work.
As a mental health professional, I’ve been by their side, ensuring they can weather the seas of the fertility journey, pregnancy and parenting, while teaching skills to make their relationships sparkle.
My favorite REI advisor, Dr Aimee the Egg Whisperer, works tirelessly to promote fertility awareness, and I carry that torch, as well.
I‘m here to guide families through these waters, with expertise, love, respect and genuine caring.
Let's get to work!
